Dr. Edwards

James Ray Edwards DC is a 2006 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic. He is a former professor and outpatient clinic supervisor at Universidad Estatal del Valle de Ecatepec, Mexico City D.F.  Dr. Edwards has practiced in Texas since 2007 specializing in personal injury, workman’s compensation, sports medicine and radiology. 


Dr. Edwards is a certified Texas Designated Doctor by the Texas Department of Insurance Division of Worker’s Compensation.  Dr. Edwards successfully completed extensive training and testing to achieve Designated Doctor status and has been recognized as an expert witness in musculoskeletal injuries for over a decade.


Dr. Edwards utilizes a variety of techniques: Activator, Diversified, Gonstead and extremity adjustments. Each patient is seen as an individual and will speak with Dr. Edwards on each visit. Dr. Edwards has a full component of modalities and rehabilitative equipment to assist in your three phases of recovery: 1. Acute pain management 2. Rehabilitative stretching and strengthening 3. Preventative maintenance and wellness care.


Whether unexplained low back pain or major accident/injury each patient will be treated by current evidence-based medicine, appropriate referrals for MRI, pain management and orthopedics to ensure efficient recovery along with future benefits for residual impairments following those unfortunate accidents. We work with local and state law firms to help with difficult insurance claims following accidents. Dr. Edwards will make sure you not only reach your recovery potential but are afforded future care for those permanent impairments.
